Darts sensation Luke Littler has urged Manchester United to sign LaLiga attacking playmaker Dani Olmo on a loan spell. The Red Devils are currently undergoing a troubling run of form, which has seen them get stuck in the bottom half of the table in 14th place.

United currently sit just seven points ahead of Ipswich Town, who are in the top relegation spot (18th), raising questions about a potential relegation battle for the Red Devils. It has been widely expected that they might turn to the transfer market this January to make important signings, as they look to turn things around.

However, there is some uncertainty about Manchester United's finances. The club may not have the funds to make permanent transfers this January, unless they can sell players to raise those funds.

However, Luke Littler has a solution for the Red Devils. The 17-year-old supporter took to his Instagram Stories, urging them to bid for Dani Olmo, with the comment (via Manchester Evening News):

Dani Olmo, who plays for Barcelona, is on the verge of becoming a free agent, amidst the Blaugrana's inability to register him to play for the rest of the 2024-25 season. The club could run afoul of Financial Fair Play rules if they complete the 26-year-old's registration, which has put his future into some uncertainty.

Clubs across Europe are undoubtedly monitoring his situation, while Barcelona push to ensure they can get him registered before any deadlines.

Ruben Amorim refuses to budge on tactical philosophy at Manchester United

Ruben Amorim has made it clear that he will not budge on the tactical philosophy he is struggling to imprint on Manchester United. The Red Devils have been underperforming this season, and despite sacking Erik ten Hag and bringing in Arorim, the head coach has been unable to change their fortunes.

While Ten Hag played a transitional 4-3-3 formation, Ruben Amorim has maintained the 3-4-3 style of play he has used to manage in Portugal. When asked if he might change this, he said (via ESPN):

"I have to sell my idea. If I change all the time it is going to be even worse. But I understand they have a lot of difficulties because they spent two years playing one way. You can feel it, I can feel it but I have to sell my idea, I don't have another one."

Amorim has led Manchester United to 11 games since he joined the club in November 2024. Since then, he has lost six games and drawn one, winning just four.
