Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt message celebrating his daughter Alana Martina, who turns seven today (November 12). The Portuguese icon posted a picture of himself beside his daughter with his head resting on hers.
Alana Martina is Cristiano Ronaldo’s fourth child and Georgina Rodriguez’s first. Ronaldo gave birth to Martina on November 12, 2017, following the arrival of twins Eva and Mateo via surrogacy.
After Martina was born, Cristiano Ronaldo announced the news in an Instagram post featuring a picture of himself, his girlfriend, his eldest son, and the newborn daughter.
Celebrating the seventh year of his daughter coming into the world, Ronaldo wrote on his Instagram:
"7 years of my princess 👸🏽❤️ Congratulations, my love!’’
Cristiano currently has five children. The first is Cristiano Jr., who was born in 2010. Seven years later, he welcomed twins via a surrogate before the birth of Martina the same year with Rodriguez. In October 2021, Ronaldo and his wife announced that they were expecting twins—a boy and a girl.
But tragedy struck in 2022 as the Portuguese man took to his Instagram to announce that their baby boy had died.
When Cristiano Ronaldo interviewed Alana Martina about her future choices
In September, Cristiano Ronaldo had a heartfelt discussion with Alana on his wife’s documentary series on Netflix. In one of the episodes of Georgina Rodriguez’s documentary series, Soy Georgina, Ronaldo asked his daughter (via Hola.com):
“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
The seven-year-old responded instantly.
“Nothing, nothing. I’ll just stay at home.”
Her unexpected response made Cristiano laugh, to which he gently responded:
“You have to work, love."
"But what am I going to do? I don’t know what I’m going to do,” Alana responded, showing some concern.
"I think you could be an actress,” Cristiano suggested, but Alana was quick to reject the idea: “No, no, no!”
However, she perked up at the idea of working behind the scenes.
"You could be a Netflix producer,” the Al-Nassr star added, which received an enthusiastic response from his daughter: “Yessssssss! I want to be that.”
Cristiano Ronaldo has taken further steps to give fans a glimpse into his family life, through a YouTube channel he opened a few months ago. Ronaldo currently plies his trade for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
