Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes has been left stunned by Cristiano Ronaldo's amazing bicycle-kick goal in Portugal's win over Poland. The two sides faced off in the Nations League at the Estadio do Dragao on Friday (November 15), with the Selecao securing a 5-1 win over their opponents.
After a goalless first half, Rafael Leao opened the scoring for the hosts (59'), and the floodgates opened. Cristiano Ronaldo added another from the penalty spot (72') before Bruno Fernandes added a third in the 80th minute.
Pedro Neto got on the scoresheet with goal number four (83'), and a bicycle kick from Ronaldo made it five (87').
Poland got a consolation goal through Dominik Marczuk, but it did not count for much as they were beaten totally. After the game, Bruno Fernandes spoke about Ronaldo's stunning effort from close range. He told reporters (via GOAL):
"All the goals were beautiful, but a bicycle kick has a special flavor. It's more difficult to do, you need a very good athletic form to get up there but we're used to that from Cristiano."
Ronaldo has now scored an impressive 135 goals in 215 games for his country. The 39-year-old has yet to retire and remains an important player for the Portugal national team.

Speaking with reporters, the legendary striker revealed that his retirement could be in the near future. He said (via ESPN):
"I just want to enjoy [myself]. Plan for retirement? If it has to happen, in one or two years... I don't know. I'm turning 40 soon. I really want to enjoy, as long as I feel motivated I keep going. The day I don't feel motivated, I will retire."
The forward also spoke about potentially coaching in the future, adding:
"I don't see myself managing a team; that's not in my plans. My future lies in other areas outside of football, although time will tell what happens."
