Kylian Mbappe recreates iconic Cristiano Ronaldo moment during Real Madrid presentation
Kylian Mbappe offered tribute to his idol Cristiano Ronaldo during his unveiling ceremony in front of Real Madrid fans. The France national team captain wrapped up his presentation by recreating one of the 37-year-old's moments at Los Blancos.
The 25-year-old forward finished his speech at the presentation with the former Real Madrid star's 'Uno, dos, tres... Hala Madrid!' moment from 2009.
Mbappe's presentation at Santiago Bernabéu was attended by 80,000 fans, which is the same as that of Cristiano Ronaldo's in 2009. He has received the No. 9 shirt, and become the first Real Madrid player to wear this number since Karim Benzema.
The French forward arrives at Santiago Bernabéu after a six-year tenure at Paris Saint-Germain, where he also played for a season on loan from Monaco in 2017-18. He is the Ligue 1 club's all-time leading scorer with 256 goals, and in his last season there he won the league title, the French Cup, and the French Super Cup.
