Arsenal were dealt a blow, as attacker Gabriel Jesus had to be stretchered off the pitch in their FA Cup third-round clash with Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday (January 12).
Following a collision with United captain Bruno Fernandes, Jesus went down holding his knee and seemed to be in a lot of pain. The Brazilian covered his face with his shirt and went off on a stretcher, getting replaced by Raheem Sterling in the 40th minute.
Fernandes was shown a yellow card for dissent after the Portuguese had claimed that he was fouled on top of the Arsenal box by Jesus, who made 22 touches while maintaining a pass accuracy of 92%.
Arsenal will hope that Gabriel Jesus' potential injury isn't a big one, as Mikel Arteta has Ethan Nwaneri, Bukayo Saka, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White on the injured list. The Palmeiras graduate had sustained a groin injury in September, missing two games.
Jesus has registered seven goals and two assists in 26 appearances across competitions for the Gunners this season. Arteta is expected to provide an update on the forward's injury in his post-match conference.

Fernandes opened the scoring for Manchester United with a right-footed shot in the 52nd minute. Nine minutes later, Dalot received his second yellow of the match for a poor foul on Mikel Merino. The Gunners scored their equaliser with Gabriel Magalhaes' left-footed shot from a set-piece in the 63rd minute.
The Gunners were awarded a penalty for Harry Maguire's foul on Kai Havertz, but Martin Odegaard squandered it, forcing extra time.
