Arsenal interested in signing full-back wanted by Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea: Reports

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies in 2025, as per TBR Football. Other Premier League sides such as Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea are also interested in signing the star Canadian full-back.

Davies' current contract with the Bundesliga giants will expire next summer and multiple top European clubs are interested in getting his signature. Multiple reports claimed that the 24-year-old is close to signing a contract extension with Bayern. However, no advancements have been provided on the topic yet.

As a result, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea are still in the race to sign the Canadian defender on a free transfer next summer. The Gunners see Davies as an upgrade for Ukraine's Oleksandr Zinchenko, while Liverpool are keen to sign a long-term replacement for Scotsman Andy Robertson.

Meanwhile, Manchester United aims to find replacements for Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, who have struggled with injuries for a long time. Enzo Maresca's Chelsea are interested in bringing Alphonso Davies to Stamford Bridge as an upgrade for former Brighton and Hove Albion star Marc Cucurella.

The 24-year-old joined the Bavarians from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019. Since then, Davies has become a crucial part of the German side, making 216 appearances across all competitions, bagging 12 goals and 34 assists.

However, the 24-year-old is also heavily linked with Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid, who are seeking a replacement for Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia.

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are considering a move for Brighton and Hove Albion attacker Evan Ferguson in the January transfer window, as per Ben Jacobs via GIVEMESPORT. The Gunners are keen to sign an attacker, who can consistently score for the side.

Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz have failed to provide consistent performances, scoring a total of eight goals in the Premier League this season. The injuries of Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling have increased further troubles for the North London club.

As a result, they're forced to recruit a new forward in the January transfer window. Earlier, they were linked with RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko. However, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig are not willing to sell the 21-year-old Slovenian forward in the January transfer window.

Arsenal have lately shifted their focus to Irish attacker Evan Ferguson. He joined the Seagulls in January 2021 and since then, he has made 79 appearances for the senior team, bagging 17 goals and five assists. However, his ongoing contract with Brighton will expire in the summer of 2029 and his release clause is estimated to be around £60 million.
