Premier League giants Arsenal are reportedly set to receive a lifeline in attack as PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani may be offered to them in January. The Gunners have been left light in attack following injuries to Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling in recent weeks.
Mikel Arteta's side have been linked to a number of forwards since the start of the season, including Omar Marmoush, Dusan Vlahovic, and Benjamin Sesko, among others. The return to form of Gabriel Jesus has coincided with injuries to Saka and Sterling, leaving the side in need of attacking reinforcement.
According to The Standard, PSG will look to offer Kolo Muani to Arsenal in order for the 26-year-old forward to get game time. The move may be a short-term loan with a view to getting him to join the Gunners permanently in the summer.
Randal Kolo Muani joined PSG for €90 million from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023. He has made 54 appearances across all competitions for PSG. The France international was expected to take on a starring role after Kylian Mbappe left the club in the summer, but he appears to have lost the trust of manager Luis Enrique.
Kolo Muani has played 14 times across all competitions this season, starting only twice and playing 453 minutes in total. The forward is desperate for minutes, and despite his willingness to remain in Paris, he may need to move elsewhere to play regularly.
An Arsenal move for Kolo Muani makes sense, as he will provide greater attacking depth for the Gunners. With Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz being options for Mikel Arteta out wide, the Frenchman will be able to provide cover for the striker position.
Arsenal learn cost of potential Bukayo Saka replacement - Reports
Arsenal have learned how much it will cost to sign West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus to replace stricken star Bukayo Saka, as per GiveMeSport. The Ghanaian star has emerged as a target for the Gunners following Saka's serious injury, which may keep him out until March.
Kudus, 24, has been one of the standout players for the Hammers since joining them from Ajax in 2023. He has a release clause of £85 million in his contract, which will become active in July. West Ham will look to receive around £100 million if they are to release the attacking midfielder in January.
Mohammed Kudus scored eight goals and provided six assists in 33 appearances in the Premier League in the 2023-24 season. The Ghanaian has scored three goals and provided two assists for the Hammers amid their struggles this season.
