Aurelien Tchouameni has suggested Kylian Mbappe will be fine with wearing a mask ahead of his likely return to action against Poland at Euro 2024. France face the Poles in their final Group D match on Tuesday (June 25), looking to win their group.

Mbappe will wear a mask if he plays in that game after breaking his nose in an opening 1-0 win against Austria. He remained on the bench in his side's 0-0 draw against the Netherlands.

Tchouameni hinted that Mbappe has adapted well to the mask and stressed the importance of his Real Madrid teammate. He said (via GOAL):

"I think he wants to play the next match. His mask? He's getting used to it. He might like to play without it, but the doc isn't going to give him the choice! When he's on the field he will bring us a lot of things."

Reports claim Kylian Mbappe is set to start against Poland at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. He's taken part in France's last two training sessions and there have been no issues regarding his nose injury.

Mbappe, 25, will be eager to get his Euro 2024 campaign properly started after his nose drama against Austria. He was left bloodied after an unintentional collision with Austrian defender Kevin Danso.

France's captain had forced the only goal of that game with a fierce cross in the 38th minute. Maximilian Wober ended up putting the ball in his own net. He's since been among the goals in training after sitting out the Netherlands draw. He managed a brace and he'll be eager to get off the mark at Euro 2024 against Poland.

Kylian Mbappe will make his move to Madrid official after Euro 2024 when he's unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu. PSG's all-time top scorer left the Parc des Princes last month and has signed a five-year deal with the La Liga giants.

There has been talk of Rodrygo becoming unsettled because of Mbappe's arrival. The Brazilian attacker could be the one to make way for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner in Carlo Ancelotti's frontline.

Rodrygo poured cold water on any suggestions he's unhappy with the Frenchman's arrival in the Spanish capital. He said (via Get Football News Spain):

"For me it will be a pleasure to play with Kylian Mbappe, I’ve always made that clear. He will help us to be stronger and stronger."

Rodrygo was a mainstay in Madrid's side last season as they won the La Liga title, the UEFA Champions League, and the Supercopa de Espana. He bagged 17 goals and nine assists in 51 games across competitions.
