According to a report by Fichajes, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has decided on the future of Ansu Fati amid speculation about his future. The German tactician wants the Spaniard out of the team and does not see him as part of his plans with La Blaugrana.
Fati came through the famed La Masia youth ranks and has made 120 appearances for his boyhood club, scoring 29 times and providing nine assists. However, he has been unfortunate with injuries over the last few years. The 22-year-old has suffered 14 injuries in the previous six seasons, which have caused him to miss 131 games.
Interest in the Barcelona star's services is believed to be high, with Premier League clubs reportedly interested in a move for the forward despite his underwhelming loan spell with Brighton & Hove Albion last season. He played just 994 minutes across 27 games for the South Coast side last season, bagging four goals and an assist for the Seagulls.
Barcelona star linked with €50 million move: Reports
According to a report by Relevo's Matteo Morretto, Barcelona expect a €50 million bid for Ronald Araujo from Juventus in this transfer window. The Uruguayan defender lost his position in the starting lineup due to the pairing of Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez.
The defender joined the Catalan outfit in the summer of 2018 from Boston River in his homeland for a reported €4.7 million and has since made 152 appearances for the Spanish giants. He has helped the side to the LaLiga crown, one Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Supercopas.
The defender came on for the injured Inigo Martinez for his side's emphatic 5-2 victory over their eternal rivals Real Madrid in Jeddah yesterday (Jan. 12) and put on a solid performance. He is contracted to La Blaugrana until the summer of 2026 and, at 25 years old, has his best years as a defender ahead of him.
Barcelona will have to make a decision if a bid for the defender materializes, given their well-documented financial difficulties. Araujo has played just 152 minutes across two games for Hansi Flick this season.
