Barcelona star Dani Olmo might be loaned to Premier League giants if the club cannot register him by December 31, 2024, as per latest reports. The 26-year-old Spanish midfielder was signed from RB Leipzig this summer for a reported €55 million.

Barcelona initially couldn't register him for the full season owing to their financial constraints. However, LaLiga allowed them to confirm his registration for six months due to a longstanding injury to defender Andreas Christensen. However, it expires on December 31, 2024, and La Blaugrana are struggling to renew the registration for the rest of the season.

Another big blow for the Catalan giants was Judge Ignacio Fernandez de Senespleda rejecting their appeal to Commercial Court No. 10 to secure a precautionary measure for re-registering Olmo.

As per an exclusive report by TBR, Premier League clubs are kept in loop about Dani Olmo's contract situation at Barcelona. TBR correspondent Graeme Bailey has also stated that the Spaniard doesn't want to leave the Catalan giants, but might be open to a loan move to England.

The report reveals that Olmo's agents are keeping clubs like Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool informed about Olmo's contract situation at La Blaugrana. Both Manchester City and Arsenal have confirmed that they are open to such a deal. Bayern, Inter Milan, and Juventus have also shown interest in the midfielder.

Dani Olmo is a La Masia graduate, having joined the club's youth system back in 2007. In 2014, he left for Dinamo Zagreb and his homecoming took place in the last summer transfer window. In 15 games for the Catalan giants this season, Olmo has scored six goals and created one more.

Barcelona President Joan Laporta will reportedly sign an agreement with a Qatari fund on December 31, thereby letting them register Dani Olmo immediately. The new economic lever reportedly deals with the sale of tickets for the VIP boxes in the renovated Camp Nou.

As per Barca Universal, the abovementioned deal could bring in €100-120 million, enabling the Catalan giants to register Olmo and Pau Victor almost immediately. Another report by DiarioSPORT reveals that representatives from the Qatari fund have already signed the deal, but Laporta will wait till December 31 to put pen to paper.

The 62-year-old president reportedly wants to wait for the court's final verdict, which is expected on Monday (December 30). Furthermore, the club will have LaLiga's approval of the deal by that time. They have already sent the official documents about the deal to LaLiga and are waiting for the green light.
