Fans reacted as England reached the Euro 2024 quarterfinals with a 2-1 extra time win over Slovakia on Sunday (June 30) at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
Slovakia took the lead through forward Ivan Schranz from an assist by David Strelec in the 25th minute. Engliand midfielder Jude Bellingham scored the equaliser with a sensational overhead kick from an assist by defender Marc Guéhi in the 95th minute, forcing extra time.
Captain Harry Kane scored the winner through an assist by Ivan Toney in the first minute of the extra time to seal the contest.
Fans took to social media as the Three Lions beat Slovakia in the Euro 2024 Round of 16. While some hailed the English goalscorers, others complained about head coach Gareth Southgate, whike others believed it was a lucky win. Here are some of the reactions on X:

England will play Switzerland in the quarterfinals of Euro 2024 on Saturday, July 6, at the Merkur Spiel Arena in Dusseldorf.
Jude Bellingham opens up after England's 2-1 win over Slovakia in Euro 2024
Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, who revived England's chances of advancing in Euro 2024 with his last gasp equaliser, spoke up about his performance. The 21-year-old told ITV (via @FabrizioRomano on X):
"I know what I can deliver in those moments."
