Fans reacted on X as Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus played out a thrilling 4-4 draw in the Derby d'Italia in Serie A on Sunday, October 27. Supporters called the game "better than El Clasico", the match-up between Real Madrid and Barcelona which ended in a landslide 4-0 win for the latter on Saturday.

Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski opened the scoring for the Nerazzurri from the penalty spot in the 15th minute. However, goals from Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic (20') and American forward Timothy Weah (26') powered the Bianconeri into the lead.

Inter responded with a quick-fire pair of goals themselves, through Armenian playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan (35') and Zielinski (37', penalty). They extended their lead to 4-2 when Denzel Dumfries squeezed the ball past the scrambling Juve defenders in the 53rd minute.

However, Juventus' Turkish wonderboy Kenan Yildiz had the last laugh. Coming onto the pitch in the 62nd minute, he struck in the 71st and 82nd minutes to restore parity and keep them undefeated in the league (four wins, five draws).

"We clearly deserved to win" - Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi after 4-4 draw vs Juventus

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi claimed that his side deserved to win the Derby d'Italia, which ended in a 4-4 draw against Juventus.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the game, the 48-year-old said (via Football Italia):

"There is disappointment, but as a coach I have to analyse the four goals that we conceded. We were up against a strong team like Juventus, but cannot concede four goals. Juve were a team that conceded only one match from the spot in eight Serie A matches and today should’ve conceded seven or eight."
"Unfortunately, we had four or five chances to add the fifth, this is an experienced team, we know that those chances cannot be wasted. We lost our shape a bit, then on the fourth goal we made a series of mistakes. These compromised a match we clearly deserved to win," Inzaghi added.

With Napoli four points ahead of them after nine rounds of fixtures, Inter will be looking to get back to winning ways in their next Serie A fixture against Empoli (October 30). On the other hand, Juventus will also be looking to close the gap on the Neapolitans when they take on Parma on the very same evening.
