Liverpool supporters have called out Andrew Robertson despite their 3-1 Premier League win over Leicester City on Thursday (December 26) at Anfield. Robertson was poor at left-back and failed to offer any meaningful contribution in defense.
Six minutes into the game, Jordan Ayew opened the scoring for Leicester City following a cross from Stephy Mavididi. On the brink of halftime (45+1'), Cody Gakpo equalized for the Reds following a pass from Alexis Mac Allister.
In the 49th minute, Curtis Jones gave the Reds the lead after being set up by Mac Allister. Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool's third in the 82nd minute following a decent pass from Gakpo.
In 86 minutes on the pitch, Robertson had a passing accuracy of 93% (82/88). He lost possession of the ball 19 times and registered only one clearance in defense (via Sofascore).
Fans took to X to express their dissatisfaction with Robertson's performance in the game's aftermath, with one posting:
