Interim Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has named Marcus Rashford in the starting eleven for the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur. The Englishman has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford after reports surfaced about how he is considering his future at the club.

Rashford, who missed the early part of the season due to a shoulder injury, has struggled to enjoy regular involvement under Rangnick despite being fit. In addition to his worrying form, better performances from Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga have kept him out of the side.

With talk of Rashford's lack of involvement potentially hindering his chances of making the England squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, there has been uncertainty over his future. Paris Saint-Germain were also believed to be interested in a potential move for Rashford.

However, the Red Devils opting to start him in a crucial game against Tottenham Hotspur now offers the forward an ideal opportunity to prove his worth. Should he recapture his form, Rashford could enjoy an extended run within the team. It remains to be seen if he can guide his team to a win at their own backyard tonight.

Additionally, Cristiano Ronaldo has also returned to the starting eleven for the Red Devils. Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes is absent from the squad.

Manchester United XI:

De Gea, Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Telles, Fred, Matic, Pogba, Rashford, Ronaldo, Sancho
