Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga made a special request to former club captain Nacho on Instagram after the defender left the club on a free transfer. Nacho also responded to him in the comment section.

The 34-year-old Spanish defender will leave for Saudi Arabia, where he is set to continue his playing career at Al-Qadsiah. Eduardo Camavinga took to Instagram, sharing a picture of the duo with the caption:

"The man has only one club, my captain and an example for everyone. A pleasure to have played by your side. I wish you the best for the future for you and your family. Now can you help me? 😂"

Nacho responded in the comment section, adding:

"I can help you take the 6 😂❤️. Thanks, my Cama."

After spending 23 years at Santiago Bernabeu, the captain put an end to his time with the Spanish giant. He notably made an impressive 364 appearances for Los Blancos after flourishing in the youth team and eventually getting promoted to the first team.

In his time with Real Madrid, Nacho won virtually everything there was to win, including a mind-boggling six UEFA Champions League trophies. Five Supercopas de Espana, two Copas del Rey, four La Liga titles, five Club World Cups, and four UEFA Super Cups all cement his status as a club legend.

Nacho pens heartfelt message after leaving Real Madrid

Although Nacho is currently with the Spain national team in Germany, where they look to win the EUROs after 12 years, he took some time to pen a message. It was heartfelt as he addressed the club's Madridistas, telling them that they had given him everything (via The Sun):

"I learned everything I am today. I have been coming to train in the same place every day for almost 25 years, which is an understatement, learning the values of Madridismo, giving my life and fighting for this crest: you have given me everything."

Notably, the defender ended his journey at Real Madrid on a high note, leading the side to win their 15th Champions League trophy. He said:

“There are no words to express my feelings. I always wanted my end as a Real Madrid player to be beautiful and at the top, and I can tell you that it is impossible to have a better one than this.”

While the longtime captain will no longer be at the club in a playing capacity, he will certainly be remembered as a legend who partook in some of their best eras.
