Cole Palmer posted a hilarious message for Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo following the 5-0 win over Morecambe on Saturday, January 11. The two teams faced each other in the FA Cup Third Round at Stamford Bridge.

Interestingly, Adarabioyo opened the scoring for the Blues in the 39th minute with a long-ranger deflected into the back of the net. The Englishman also scored the London giant's third goal of the night, a superb finish from outside the box, after Nkunku had doubled the lead.

Joao Felix got into the act late in the second half, scoring two more to power Chelsea to the next round. Following the win, Palmer shared a picture of Adarabioyo on social media with the following note:

"Abdul," wrote Palmer.

Interestingly, Tosin Adarabioyo's full name is Abdul-Nasir Oluwatosin Oluwadoyinsolami Adarabioyo. The 26-year-old joined Chelsea last summer as a free agent after his contract with Fulham expired.

The Blues parted ways with Thiago Silva at the end of the last campaign, with the Brazilian rejoining his former club Fluminense as a free agent. Adarabioyo was expected to help seal the gap left behind by the legendary defender but has been in and out of the first team so far.

The Englishman has registered 17 appearances across competitions, 15 of which have been starts. However, Tosin Adarabioyo has started just seven games in the Premier League.

Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League after 20 games, 10 points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand. Enzo Maresca's team has scored 39 times in the league and conceded 24.

The Blues, meanwhile, are at the top of the UEFA Conference League table after six games, with six wins to date. They have scored 29 goals and conceded just eight in eight games in the tournament, including qualifiers.

The London Giants have conceded 34 goals from 31 games this season. Chelsea have already registered nine clean sheets across competitions under Enzo Maresca so far.

The Blues next face Bournemouth in the Premier League on Tuesday, January 14, in the Premier League. Maresca's team arrive at the game on a run of one win in their last five games in the league.

The London giants have lost two of their last three games and cannot afford to drop points against Andoni Iraola's side. The Cherries are seventh in the Premier League table.
