A German entrepreneur named Marcus Schon reportedly sent an email to Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn to offer to fund a move for Cristiano Ronaldo. The email that was sent allegedly sent was reported on by Bavarian newspaper Abendzeitung. It states:

"It's conceivable that we could commit ourselves to the transfer fee or paying the salary excess over a basic amount if our company is clearly identified as the facilitator of the deal."

Schon is then alleged to have asked for a percentage of shirt sales that a deal for Ronaldo rakes in. However, it seems highly unlikely that the Portuguese great will be heading to the Allianz Arena.

Ronaldo still has another year left on his contract with Al Nassr where he earns a reported £178 million per year. Moreover, the Bavarians turned down the chance to sign the five-time Ballon d'Or winner last summer and in January.

The Real Madrid legend's age is not one that fits the profile of players that Bayern are looking to further improve their squad. Thomas Tuchel also decided against pursuing the iconic forward for Chelsea when he wanted to leave Manchester United last summer.
