Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have reportedly bought a plot of land on Dubai's Jumeirah Island for €25m. The couple are seemingly planning to build a brand new home for their children and themselves in the heart of the country and work is expected to finish by 2024.
The island is connected to Dubai via a bridge that runs for approximately 300 meters. The major attractions of the palm-shaped island include The Palm Tour, which has an observation deck on the 52nd floor.
The tower is also connected to the Nakheel Mall where more than 300 luxury shops are established. Visitors can also enjoy the view of the island from the sky with its skydiving facility. With a total of 15 mansions so far, Jumeirah Island is one of the most exclusive places in the country.
Cristiano Ronaldo's properties across the globe
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently on a pay scale of $200 million a year at Al Nassr. Therefore, there are not many things that the Portugal talisman has to think twice before being able to afford. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is the proud owner of properties in many of the most sophisticated and affluent areas in the world.
Starting in his birthplace Portugal, Ronaldo owns four properties in four different parts of the country. The 39-year-old was born in Funchal, Madeira, where he has a seven-storey property. Additionally, he also owns houses in Geres, Lisbon and Cascais.
The best of the lot is undoubtedly Ronaldo's huge mansion in Cascais. Valued at around $22 million, it has four floors and comes with a gym, a cinema hall, and two massive garages. The windows and the balconies open to a picturesque view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Cristiano Ronaldo has two properties in Spain - in Madrid and Marbella. The one in Madrid boasts all the high-end inclusions like a gym, a huge garage, and a massive football field. After moving to Saudi to play for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo rented out the apartment for a whopping price of $16,000 a month.
Additionally, the former Real Madrid superstar had a luxury apartment in the Trump Tower. However, he sold it in 2021 for a loss according to Vanity Fair. Finally, Ronaldo has a $6.5 million palatial house in Turin.
The house is so big that it took Georgina Rodriguez a while to navigate and know the routes well.
“Sometimes it would take me half an hour to get back from the living room because I didn’t know the way,” she revealed in her Netflix docuseries, I Am Georgina.
