According to reports from Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate, Talisca, is set to return to the club's matchday squad following an injury setback. The Brazilian forward has missed three games this month due to a muscular problem.

Talisca has been impressive since arriving at the Riyadh-based club in 2021 for a reported Guangzhou FC for a reported €8 million fee. He has scored 76 goals and provided 10 assists in 102 games to become the club's third-highest all-time goalscorer.

According to @Ali_alabdallh on X, Talisca will return to the squad for Al-Nassr's Saudi Pro League match against Damac on Friday, November 29. In 17 appearances across competitions this season, he has scored eight goals.

After their 2-1 loss against Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League on November 22, manager Stefano Pioli lamented Talisca's absence. He said:

“We have a difference in performance, so we must maintain continuity. Unfortunately, today the players were not rewarded for the levels they presented in the past period. We are supposed to offer more than that.. We are working on creating more chances and today Talisca's absence was influential.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in fine form for Al-Nassr since he joined the club in January 2023 as a free agent. He has bagged 71 goals and 18 assists in 81 games. His contract with the Saudi Arabian club expires in the summer of 2025.
