According to the latest reports, Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr want Anderson Talisca out of the side. The Brazilian midfielder joined them from Chinese outfit Guangzhou FC in the summer of 2021 for a reported €8 million.
Talisca's €125,000-per-week contract with the Knights of Najd was last extended in 2023 and runs till the summer of 2026. So far, he has made 104 appearances for the club across competitions, recording 76 goals and 10 assists. He has yet to win an officially recognized trophy with the Saudi Pro League giants.
As per a report from @NFCWorld on X, the Al-Nassr management want to ship Anderson Talisca off to Turkish giants Fenerbahce. They are open to either a permanent signing or a loan deal.
Multiple reports have linked the Brazilian star with the Turkish giants this season. In December 2024, journalist Ahmed Al-Jadi had reported that Al-Nassr CEO Guido Fienga had gone to Turkiye to negotiate with Fenerbahce for the sale of Anderson Talisca. Another report by journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu revealed that the player's agent is scheduled to meet the club's management either on January 5 or January 6.
Talisca has previously played in the Super Lig for Besiktas. He spent two years on a loan deal between 2016 and 2018 from his former club Benfica. In 80 appearances for Kara Kartallar across competitions, he scored 37 goals and created 14 more.
Exploring the options for Cristiano Ronaldo as he faces an uncertain future at Al-Nassr
Cristiano Ronaldo's €200 million-a-year contract with Al-Nassr is set to expire in the summer of 2025, raising questions about his future at the club. The Portuguese superstar joined Al-Nassr in 2023 after a controversial exit from Premier League juggernauts Manchester United.
In 83 games across competitions, Cristiano Ronaldo has racked up 74 goals and 18 assists, already becoming the fourth-highest goalscorer in the club's history. He is the club's top scorer this season, registering 16 goals and three assists in 19 games so far.
According to a report by TEAMTalk, Cristiano Ronaldo's future could unfold in one of three directions. First, he may choose to retire at Al-Nassr if he leads them to AFC Champions League Elite glory at the end of this season.
However, the more likely possibility is for him to renew his contract at his current club, who have seen exponential growth in popularity since his arrival and may not want to end the association soon.
Lastly, the Portuguese sensation may return to his homeland and play for his childhood club Sporting CP. Cristiano Ronaldo had joined the youth ranks of the Portuguese outfit at age 12 in 1997. He registered five goals and six assists in 31 games for the senior side before his reported €19 million move to Manchester United in 2003.
