Arsenal fans called out Leandro Trossard following the 1-1 Premier League draw at Brighton on Saturday (January 4). Trossard was poor in attack and failed to offer any meaningful contribution.

Ethan Nwaneri opened the scoring for the Gunners in the 16th minute following a pass from Mikel Merino. However, the visitors failed to kill the game off by scoring a second.

Just before the hour mark, William Saliba fouled Joao Pedro, and referee Anthony Taylor awarded Brighton a spot-kick. Pedro converted the spot-kick to draw level for Brighton as a draw ensued.

Trossard had a passing accuracy of 89% (31/35). He registered one shot off-target and lost possession seven times (via Sofascore). Fans took to X to express their disappointment with Trossard's performance, with one tweeting:

"Trossard dropped the worst 96 minutes of football in history."
"Leandro Trossard. If I speak…," another added.
"Trossard is just one horrible player. He moans and when you play him, he’s shit," a fan opined.
"Trossard was a ghost all game, what’s happened to him this season," a fan wondered.
"Arteta has to release Trossard in this transfer market," another fan opined.
"The way I’ve grown to hate trossard is crazy," another fan vented.
"Why is Trossard still in this game ?," another fan questioned.
"Trossard has been a disgrace in this game.," another chimed in.
"Trossard genuinely has the iq of a goldfish," another said.
"Trossard should not be playing for us why is he here in 2025?," wrote another.
