Erling Haaland has mocked KSI after Manchester City beat Arsenal to the Premier League title yesterday (May 19). The Norweigan superstar helped promote the YouTube megastar's hydration drink PRIME as he's a sponsored athlete.
The Premier League's Golden Boot winner spoke after his side won 3-1 against West Ham United. He hilariously trolled the social media star who is a huge Gunners fan (via KSI NEWS):
"KSI it didn't go (your way) this year either. But, it's not only negative news, it's a bit positive as well (lifts bottle). So I'm popping this one, cheers, enjoy this bottle, it's an amazing drink!"
Haaland, 23, was pivotal in his sophomore season at the Etihad, registering 27 goals and five assists in 31 league games. He finished top scorer for the second season in a row.
KSI was furious with how Arsenal missed out on the title when speaking on The Sidemen's podcast Side+:
"The league was ours, we were basically perfect and it's still not enough."
Mikel Arteta's men are wounded after failing to get the better of City in a title race yet again. They beat Everton 2-1 on the final day of the season but setbacks at home against Aston Villa (2-0) and Fulham (2-2) proved decisive.
Arsenal fan KSI's hilarious response when Erling Haaland touched on Manchester City's UCL triumph
Erling Haaland's debut season at Manchester City ended with the continental treble. He broke several records and finished top scorer in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
It was the first time the former Borussia Dortmund frontman had won Europe's elite club competition. He discussed the moment he became a European champion while a guest with KSI on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast last August:
"Winning the treble with City was a huge thing. Champions League has been my dream ever since I was a kid, and to do that, I start to cry directly when they blew the whistle."
KSI butted in and pointed out that Arsenal are still dreaming of Champions League glory:
"Arsenal's dream aswell. We're still dreaming."
Arsenal made it to this season's quarterfinals before being eliminated 3-2 on aggregate by Bayern Munich. That was the first time they'd reached that stage of the competition since 2010.
Manchester City's defense of their Champions League crown lasted until the quarterfinals too. Pep Guardiola's men crashed out on penalties (4-3) against Real Madrid after a 4-4 draw on aggregate
