Fans revealed their expectations for Cristiano Ronaldo after Anderson Talisca was dropped from Al-Nassr's starting lineup. The Knights of Najd are set to face Damac on Friday (November 29) at Al-Awwal Park, where they would hope to clinch all three points.

Al-Nassr would have to do so without Anderson Talisca, though. The Brazilian attacker has been named on the bench, rather than in the starting lineup, despite being one of their most important players this season. In his last five games in all competitions, Talisca has scored five goals.

With him on the bench, though, the focus will lie on Cristiano Ronaldo, who will have to take up the attacking mantle. The legendary Portuguese striker is highly capable of this, having scored six goals and provided one assist in his last five games. Fans are looking forward to more goalscoring from the 39-year-old.

"2 and there's nothing Talisca and Pioli can do to stop that from happening," a fan predicted a brace for Ronaldo.
"Talisca is on the bench so i expect a brace from the goat," another fan agreed.
"2-0 with Cristiano scoring those two," a third predicted.
"If talisca plays they we won’t see this celebration. Because he will occupy the center forward position," this fan claimed.
"Ffs, I don't want to be seeing stuff like this. It's a jinx now he'll score. I want to see Ronny scoring not f**king Talisca under Pioli," a fan was wrote.

When Cristiano Ronaldo spoke about his plans to retire at Al-Nassr

Earlier this year, Cristiano Ronaldo discussed his future, revealing his plans to retire at Al-Nassr. The 39-year-old spoke about it during a press conference back in August, telling Portuguese TV channel Now (via BBC):

"I don't know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al-Nassr. I'm happy at this club, I feel good in this country too. I'm happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue."

Cristiano Ronaldo has spent nearly two years at Al-Nassr, having joined the club in December 2022. The Portugal legend hasn't won any silverware at the club, however.
