Former Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane recently talked about having kids after completing a year of marriage with his wife Aisha Tamba. The latter was just 18 years old when she tied the knot with the Al Nassr forward last year.
The duo celebrated the first anniversary of their marriage on January 7, after which Mane gave his views on how many children he wanted. Speaking to Senepeopleplus, the Senegal international said (via GOAL):
"Funny question. If it is just a choice, I would say 3 or 4. Except that it is God who decides and I will thank him no matter what."
Meanwhile, on the sporting front, the 32-year-old isn't having the greatest of seasons for Al Nassr. In 23 appearances for the Saudi Pro League side across competitions this term, he has scored and assisted five goals each.
Mane will next be in action when Al Nassr welcome Al Akhdoud for a league match on Friday, January 9. His side are currently fourth in the league table, 11 points behind leaders Al Ittihad.
How Sadio Mane has fared since leaving Liverpool
Sadio Mane joined Liverpool in a reported €41.20 million move from Southampton in 2016. He grew into a club legend at Anfield, helping the club win the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League among other honors.
He also formed a lethal attacking partnership with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah under Jurgen Klopp's tutelage. He scored 120 goals and provided 42 assists in 269 matches for the Reds across competitions before leaving them for Bayern Munich in 2022.
For the Bavarians, Mane netted 12 goals and provided six assists in 38 games in a season, but an approach from the Saudi Pro League was too hard to turn down. The Senegalese joined Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr in a €30 million move in 2023 on a three-year deal.
In 69 matches for the Saudi side since, he has scored 24 and assisted 16 goals. However, he, along with Ronaldo, has failed to help the side win a silverware.
