Georgina Rodriguez posted a snap on her Instagram account watching Cristiano Ronaldo in action for Portugal in their Euro 2024 opening 2-1 win against Czechia. The iconic forward wasn't on the scoresheet but impressed for Roberto Martinez's side at Red Bull Arena Leipzig on Tuesday (June 18).

Cristiano Ronaldo captained Selecao and made history as he appeared in a sixth European Championship finals. He's now participated in 11 major international tournaments with his national team.

Georgina Rodriguez watched her partner in action from home, seemingly with their children and friends. She posted a picture of Ronaldo on TV to celebrate Portugal's 2-1 comeback win.

Slavia Prague winger Lukas Provod opened the scoring against the run of play in the 62nd minute with a sensational effort. It was a wake-up call for Martinez's troops, who had failed to show killer instinct.

Viktoria Plzen defender Robin Hranac put the ball through his own net seven minutes later, as Portugal's pressure paid off. Francisco Conceicao was the hero, with the FC Porto attacker coming on in the 90th minute and scoring a winner two minutes after.

Cristiano Ronaldo prepared for Euro 2024 with some family time after a grueling Saudi Pro League campaign. He spent much of the season traveling around Saudi Arabia but couldn't steer Al-Nassr to the title, with Al-Hilal prevailing.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner hopes to captain Portugal to glory in Germany. His nation got off to a good start with all three points to move second in Group F, with an inferior goal difference to group leaders Turkiye.

Georgina Rodriguez was in attendance as Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr failed to win the Kings Cup. Luis Castro's Al-Alami suffered a 5-4 defeat on penalties against rivals Al-Hilal after a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes in which both sides had a man sent off.

Cristiano Ronaldo netted his penalty during the shootout, but it wasn't enough at King Abdullah Sports City on May 31. The five-time UEFA Champions League winner was in tears after losing the final.

Georgina Rodriguez sympathized with Al-Nassr and posted a picture of herself at the stadium watching the final. She captioned it:

"A penalty away from winning the King’s Cup. Congratulations (Al-Nassr) for the match."

Ronaldo, 39, was excellent throughout last season, posting 44 goals and 13 assists in 45 games across competitions. Portugal's captain and Rodriguez, 30, have been in Saudi since January 2023, when he joined Al-Nassr as a free agent.
