Former Portugal manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has commented on Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Euro 2024. The Portuguese superstar is set to make his record-extending sixth European Championships appearance this month. He enjoyed a significant run under Scolari, who was in charge of Portugal at the 2004 UEFA Euro, 2006 FIFA World Cup, and 2008 UEFA Euro.
Scolari recently told the Portuguese newspaper O Jogo (via Al Nassr Zone on X):
"Nothing changed. Cristiano was always loyal, he was always an example of that different player, the one who paid attention to the smallest details. He was interested in being useful in his characteristics and he improved those same characteristics with much greater effort."
