Chelsea fans have criticized Noni Madueke on X, with a section branding him as selfish despite their 2-1 win against Leicester City. The two sides locked horns in their Premier League fixture at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, November 23.

Nicolas Jackson gave the Blues the lead in the 15th minute after being played through by Enzo Fernandez. Madueke had a massive chance to double their lead just before the break but scuffed his volley off target. The latter then accidentally blocked Cole Palmer's effort off the line to deny his teammate a certain goal.

Fernandez made it 2-0 in the 75th minute with a good header. Romeo Lavia conceded a late penalty which Jordan Ayew converted in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Fortunately for Enzo Maresca, his side held on to their lead to seal all three points.

Despite their win, Chelsea fans were fuming with Madueke after the game. One posted:

"Madueke needs to stop with the religious quotes and Jesus stuff, God abandoned him a long time ago."

Another tweeted:

"Madueke should never start another PL game"

Other fans reacted below:

"Madueke since Wolves," one fan posted
"There’s gonna be some dudes defending Madueke and calling Felix s**t btw just so you’re aware," another commented
"Was fighting alone against Madueke now everyone’s woken up," one fan pointed out
"I don’t think people talk about Madueke’s selfishness enough, not even this incident but the boy is mad selfish. No team thrives with a forward player like that," another insisted

"The first touch is beautiful" - Emmanuel Petit hails Chelsea star following Leicester win

Former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit praised Nicolas Jackson after he opened the scoring during their 2-1 win against Leicester City. The 23-year-old has now scored seven goals and provided three assists in 13 appearances across competitions.

Jackson took full advantage of Wout Faes fluffing his lines on three occasions to keep the ball. He then brilliantly found the bottom-right corner with the outside of his boot to continue his good start to the season.

Petit said (via The Chelsea Chronicle):

“The first goal, Jackson challenged the ball, he looked strong physically, and you know, it looks hard to get the ball. The first touch to avoid the defender is brilliant, the way he won the ball, the first touch is beautiful, just remarkable."

The Blues are currently third in the league table with 22 points from 12 games, six points behind leaders Liverpool - who have a game in hand.
