Al-Nassr fans on X have waxed lyrical about Cristiano Ronaldo's teammate Mohamed Simakan after his excellent performance during their 5-1 win against Al-Ain. The two sides faced off in their AFC Champions League clash at Al-Awwal Park on Tuesday, November 5.
Simakan made a brilliant solo run across the pitch in the fifth minute, assisting Anderson Talisca to help the hosts break the deadlock. Cristiano Ronaldo doubled their advantage in the 31st minute, finishing into the bottom-left corner from close range. Al-Ain's woes continued six minutes later when Fabio Cardoso netted an own goal, giving Al-Nassr a three-goal advantage going into half-time.
Al-Ain ramped up the pressure after the break with Park Yong-Woo hitting the post soon after. The ball ricocheted back onto Bento, causing the Brazilian keeper to score an unfortunate own goal (56'). Fortunately for Ronaldo and Co., Wesley scored a stunner past the keeper in the 81st minute, before Talisca completed his brace (90+4') to seal all three points for Al-Nassr.

Fans hailed Simakan for his performance. The 24-year-old centre-back joined Cristiano Ronaldo's side over the summer from RB Leipzig and put in another sensational defensive performance.
During his 90 minutes on the pitch, he completed 38/40 passes with an accuracy of 95 percent, created one chance, made four recoveries, won four duels, and made two clearances.
