Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season

Sky Sports released a video featuring several Liverpool players paying tribute to gaffer Jurgen Klopp as he's set to leave the club at the end of the season. However, fans questioned why the video didn't feature former captain Jordan Henderson.

The German gaffer is set to leave Liverpool following a brilliant nine-year tenure. The Reds won the Premier League and their sixth UEFA Champions League with Klopp at the helm of the club.

Henderson, who was captain of the club for eight years under Klopp, didn't feature in the list of former and current players who paid tribute to the 56-year-old. The Englishman featured in 304 games across all competitions under the former Borussia Dortmund manager.

He left the club in search of greener pastures following a midfield revamp by the German. However, fans' speculation grew after former players Adam Lallana and James Milner also featured in the video.

Here's how they reacted:

A user said:

"No Henderson. Shame that relationship has broken down."

Another user commented:

"No sight of Henderson in any of these Klopp tribute vids I’m seeing."

However, other former players Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum also didn't feature in the video, rubbishing rumours that the former captain's commission was intentional.

Liverpool will play their last game under Jurgen Klopp against Wolves on May 19, Sunday.

Arne Slot has reportedly signed the deal to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool

The current Feyenoord manager has recently signed the deal to replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported. According to the Italian, the club will make the announcement after the work permits of some of Slot's coaching staff members arrive.

As per a report by ESPN, the Dutch football manager has inked the deal that will reportedly fetch him a reported £49.4 million.

The Dutchman led Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title last season and his side finished second this season, only behind PSV Eindhoven.

The 45-year-old, however, will have some big shoes to fill at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp not only established himself as one of the most successful managers at the club but also cemented himself as a father figure.

He helped young players like Trent Alexander-Arnold to bloom in his shed and flourish to become the exemplary players they are today.

The Reds have also planned a farewell arrangement for Klopp, titled 'An Evening with Jurgen Klopp and Special Guests' that will take place at the M&S Bank Arena on May 28, Tuesday.
