Real Madrid fans have lauded Brahim Diaz on social media following their 3-0 win over Mallorca in the Supercopa de Espana semi-final on Thursday (January 9). Brahim was brilliant in attack and played a vital role in two of Real Madrid's goals.

After a goalless first half, Jude Bellingham reacted perfectly to a rebound and opened the scoring for Madrid in the 63rd minute. In added time (90+2’), Brahim Diaz's pass to Kylian Mbappe was intercepted by Martin Valjent, who ended up putting the ball in his own net.

Three minutes later, Brahim played in Lucas Vasquez, whose cross was neatly converted by Rodryo as the game ended 3-0 in favor of Los Blancos. Despite being subbed on in the 88th minute, the Moroccan midfielder made a telling impact on the game.

Bellingham has proven to be a brilliant signing for Real Madrid since joining the club in 2023. The Englishman put in another solid shift on Thursday, opening the scoring for Los Blancos in the 63rd minute.

In 90 minutes on the pitch, Bellingham had a passing accuracy of 83% (35/42). He provided four key passes and registered two shots on target. The Englishman created one big chance and won seven out of nine ground duels contested (via Sofascore).

Bellingham has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 22 games for Madrid this season. Los Blancos will face Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana final on Sunday, January 12, and will be counting on Bellingham to produce the goods again.
