Manchester United supporters have called out Andre Onana following their 2-0 Premier League defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday, December 26, at the Molineux Stadium. Onana was at fault for Wolves' opener as Matheus Cunha scored directly from a corner.

After a goalless first half, Bruno Fernandes was sent off after receiving his second yellow card for committing a foul on Nelson Semedo in the 47th minute. In the 58th minute, Matheus Cunha opened the scoring with an Olimpico. Onana should, arguably, have been stronger as Wolves players put him under pressure in the six-yard box.

Hwang Hee-chan doubled the hosts' lead in added time (90+9’), following a pass from Cunha to secure the three points.

In 90 minutes on the pitch, Onana had a passing accuracy of 59% (13/22). He saved two shots and made one error leading to a goal.

Fans took to X to express their disappointment with Onana's performance after the match, with one tweeting:

"At this rate, even if we give Onana away for free, we'll be ok cos he's the biggest liability we have."
"Onana is not a goalkeeper,” another added.
"Onana I just don’t have a word for him. Letting players bully you inside your zone," another wrote.
"Bruno & Onana must go….sell them as soon as possible…no other option..,” a fan opined.
"ONANA IS SHOCKINGLY BADDD,” another said.
"Another game lost because of André Onana,” wrote another.

How did Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes perform against Wolves?

The Portuguese international could be partially held accountable for the defeat. His red card weakened and exposed Manchester United in both defense and attack.

In 47 minutes on the pitch, Fernandes had a passing accuracy of 82% (23/28). He lost possession of the ball 14 times and registered only 43 touches. Despite his poor performance, he remains a key player in United's midfield.

Fernandes has scored four goals and registered five assists in 18 league games for Manchester United this season. The Red Devils are placed 14th in the Premier League with 22 points from 18 games and a goal difference of -3.

The Red Devils will take on Newcastle United in their next Premier League game on Monday (December 30).
