Swedish influencer Sanne Josefson has revealed that meeting Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the most uncomfortable encounters she has had.
In a recent interview at Expresson television studio, Josefson was asked to describe the most uncomfortable encounter she has had with a celebrity, when she recalled meeting Cristiano Ronaldo years ago in Los Angeles. She didn't specify when the encounter took place, though.
According to Josefson, Ronaldo's then-manager appeared interested in her friend, and they met at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. The influencer recalled that Ronaldo wanted to drink only water at the restaurant to preserve his six-pack.
"I think his manager had a bit of a crush on my friend, so they invited us to a drink at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
"We didn't have a great conversation. We were going to order something to drink and then he said I want water. I want to keep my six pack. Then I thought we don't have much to talk about." she recalled.
When asked if Josefson clicked a picture with Ronaldo, the influencer said that she didn't and went to the pub later during the encounter.
"No I didn't! I went out to the pub later!" she added.
Cristiano Ronaldo being super conscious about his body doesn't come as a surprise.
The 39-year-old has always been health-conscious, and his teammates and coaches have praised him for his dedicated and hardwork towards building his body. The Portuguese is currently with Portugal at the ongoing Euro 2024 and is looking to win his second European Championship.
Frank Lampard recalled how Cristiano Ronaldo visited the gym twice even on vacation
Ahead of Portugal's Euro 2024 opening match against Czech Republic on June 19, former midfielder Frank Lampard recalled an incident when he bumped into Cristiano Ronaldo on vacation.
Lampard revealed that Ronaldo had been visiting the gym twice with his personal trainer even on holiday, praising the player for his hardwork and dedication.
"I actually bumped into him on holiday a few months ago. I was in the same hotel on the beach.
"Unfortunately his sunspot every day was a bit down from me and I made sure to stay away from him because he was in incredible shape, so I gave him a little bit of distance! I pulled him over (as) I wanted my son to have a picture because of the player he's been.," Lampard recalled.
Speaking further about Ronaldo's hardwork, Lampard added:
"I quickly put my t-shirt on and had a nice picture with him but I noticed he was going over to the gym twice a day with his personal trainer.
"It just shows you his dedication to what he does. I might have been sipping a beer watching him, and I did give him a ripple of applause as he walked back."
Cristiano Ronaldo has always been appreciated for his longevity and ability to play continue at the highest level at this age.
Despite not being at the peak of his powers, he's key to Portugal's hopes at Euro 2024. The five-time Ballon D'or winner is playing his sixth Euro, becoming the first player to do so.
