Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes recently helped save a passenger in distress on a flight. The Portuguese midfielder was on his way to a conference in Lisbon with club and national teammate Diogo Dalot when he spotted a passenger, who appeared to be losing consciousness.

The playmaker immediately drew attention to the passenger and helped him get medical attention. Another passenger on the plane, Susanna Lawson told Business Cloud (via the Daily Mail):

"Bruno went to the loo at the back of the plane during the flight, (We) suddenly heard a shout for assistance which those within hearing distance looked back, including us as we were toward the back.
"Members of the crew rushed to the back to help. There was a spare seat at the back which Bruno helped the gentleman to sit down on.‘He stayed at the back with them and made sure he was OK. It might have been about 5-10 minutes and then he made his way back to his seat but again very unassuming. He wasn’t looking for any attention on himself."

Bruno Fernandes has been a phenomenal player for Manchester United since he joined the club in January 2020. The Red Devils captain has scored 83 goals and provided 73 assists in 250 games for the club.

Bruno Fernandes shares what he told Manchester United teammate Alejandro Garnacho after his goal in the last game

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes shared what he told Alejandro Garnacho after his goal in the Red Devils' 3-0 win over Leicester City. The Argentine had a muted celebration after getting on the scoresheet.

Fernandes opened the scoring for his side with a beautifully curled effort. Then his header forced Victor Kristensen to score an own goal to underline a strong 250th game for the 20-time English champions.

Speaking after the game, the Portuguese midfielder told the press (via 90min):

"Garnacho scored a banger but didn't celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost faith from some fans. I told him people will always moan but lots of people like you and enjoy what you do. I told him to celebrate, it was something special. He is a special player, we have difference makers. They are the ones who win us games. We want them to score every game but that isn't going to happen."

Bruno Fernandes recently extended his deal with Manchester United till the summer of 2027. The Portuguese playmaker will hope to maintain his consistency following the arrival of his countryman Ruben Amorim as the head coach.
