Al-Raed coach Marius Sumudica has said that he didn't ask for Cristiano Ronaldo's shirt after Al-Nassr beat his team 4-0 on April 28. Ronaldo scored the opening goal of the game.

Sumudica could be seen heading down the tunnel with Ronaldo's shirt with him. However, the Romanian recently revealed about how he got the memento. He told Liga Digisport (via Gazeta Sporturilor):

"I have the shirt here. I have it on the hanger. I'm going to come dressed as him to the first show I attend. I lost about 14 kilos, and I fit. I don't have Ronaldo's size, but it fits me."

He added:

"I want to mention that I did not ask for Ronaldo's shirt. I spoke with him for almost two minutes at halftime, before the second half. The sporting director I had when I was playing in Madeira, Joao Camacho, was Mendes' right-hand man at the company that managed Cristiano."

Sumudica also said:

"He remembered this: some of my colleagues there and wanted to remind me of that shirt. If I was going to ask for it, I didn't wait until the end of the match because I was sure that other players in my team would ask for it. He wanted to give it to me, so he didn't give it to anyone."

He concluded:

"I wanted to put an end to the speculation. For me, it is important to receive the shirt of a great footballer. He gave it to me, then took me in his arms. He remembered that when I was playing at Maritimo he was in the juniors, before he went to Sporting."

Cristiano Ronaldo bagged his 12th goal for Al-Nassr during the Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Nassr. Since making his debut for the Riyadh-based team in January, the Portuguese has been in great form.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play against Al-Khaleej on Monday night?

Al-Nassr return to action on Monday (night) as they take on Al-Khaleej in a Saudi Pro League clash. Cristiano Ronaldo, though, is a doubt for the game after having an off day from training due to muscle discomfort.

According to Ariyadiah, the 38-year-old has returned to training and is in line to start against Al-Khaleej. Ronaldo has been Al-Nassr's main threat in front of goal in recent games.

Considering that league leaders Al-Ittihad recently dropped points, Al-Alami still have a slim chance of winning the Saudi Pro League. A win against Al-Khaleej is must for Cristiano Ronaldo and co. to keep their title quest alive.
