Former Manchester United keeper Tomasz Kuszczak has spoken about his time with Cristiano Ronaldo at the English club. The Polish keeper joined the 20-time English champions initially on loan in 2006 before moving permanently in 2007 from West Brom for a reported €4.3 million fee.

Speaking in a recent interview with 888Sport via Goal, the retired shot-stopper reminisced on his time with the legendary forward in Manchester, saying:

“I was one of many hundreds of players that he worked with. I hear people talk about him, colleagues and different players, and they are all quite similar in judgement. He is a top professional and always has been."
“From my perspective, I had four years with Cristiano at Manchester United at one of the best times when he went to the top. From the time that he came to the club, he was young and not a fully developed player, but he became a top player in the world that many of the best teams tried to sign. I was watching him all the time and it was amazing."

Kuszczak played 2086 minutes across 27 games with Cristiano Ronaldo at the club, winning the UEFA Champions League and three Premier League titles together.

"I said this one and a half years ago, and I will continue to say it: The problem is not the coaches" - When Cristiano Ronaldo advised former club Manchester United about changes to be made

In December 2024, legendary football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo offered his former side, Manchester United, some advice about the changes needed at the club. The club has struggled to live up to its illustrious history in recent seasons and is currently stuck in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Ronaldo is considered one of the best players to represent the iconic club. He bagged 145 goals and 64 assists in 346 games across two stints for the club. Speaking about his former side at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, the legendary forward said via ESPN:

"The Premier League it's the most difficult league in the world, All the teams are good, all the teams fight, all the teams run, all the players are strong. Football is different right now. There's no easy games anymore."
"I said this one and a half years ago, and I will continue to say it: The problem is not the coaches. It's like an aquarium. If you have the fish inside and he's sick and you take him out and you fix the problem and you put him again in an aquarium they will be sick again."
"The problem of Manchester United is the same. The problem is not always the coach. It's much more than that. If I will be the owner of the club, I will make things clear and adjust what I think is bad there."

Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr. He joined the side in January 2023 after he left Manchester United following the termination of his deal with the club after an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
