New West Ham United boss Graham Potter claimed he has become a better coach due to his brief stint at Chelsea. Potter was appointed as the Blues' head coach in September 2022, shortly after Todd Boehly became the chairman of the Stamford Bridge outfit.

However, the Blues finished 12th in the 2022-23 Premier League season with 38 points after 38 matches. Graham Potter was sacked in April 2023 following an 11th defeat in 31 games. Mauricio Pochettino was named the new head coach of the west London club in July 2023.

After almost two years, the former Brighton & Hove Albion boss has gotten a new job as the manager of a club. In his first press conference after his recent appointment at West Ham, the English tactician addressed his time at the Stamford Bridge. Graham Potter believes that he has become a better person and manager with the help of his last experiences and rest.

He said (via Chelsea Chronicles):

"I think I'm a better person now for the experience (at Chelsea), a better coach for the experience and well rested."

The English tactician has replaced Julen Lopetegui, who was in charge at West Ham for six months. The Hammers are 14th in the Premier League table with 23 points in 20 matches. Next up, they'll face Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup on Friday, January 10.

Graham Potter's West Ham United are interested in signing Chelsea's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the winter transfer window, as per Mail Online. The 26-year-old joined the west London club from Leicester City last summer for a reported transfer fee of £30 million.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is an academy product of Leicester City, but he also played for Blackpool and Luton Town on loan. The Englishman has made 129 appearances for Leicester's senior team, scoring 17 goals and providing 20 assists across all competitions.

He has made only 15 appearances for the Blues this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. However, Dewsbury-Hall is yet to start a game for the Blues under Enzo Maresca. Due to the lack of minutes, the 26-year-old can join another club this winter.

According to the aforementioned report, West Ham United are interested in signing the Englishman. Leicester City are also considering a move for the 26-year-old on a loan deal.
