Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker's wife Natalia Loewe wrote a heartfelt message to Roberto Firmino as the Brazilian bowed out of Anfield.

Firmino, 31, is bringing an end to his eight-year stay on Merseyside when his contract expires in June. He has been a massive hit with the Reds, winning the Premier League title, the Champions League, the FA Cup, and League Cup.

The Brazilian forward held a family celebration of his life with Liverpool. Alisson and his wife Loewe were both present with the latter penning an emotional message to the striker. She uploaded an image of the forward at his event and captioned it on her Instagram story:

"Celebrating him! Bobby, I'm thankful for your life, for everything you've done for us, as a team and as a family! We love you!"

She continued:

"Wherever you are going, you'll never walk alone! May God bless you!"

The Reds frontman made his final appearance at Anfield this past weekend in a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa. He closed the captain on his memorable time playing at Liverpool's home ground with an 89th-minute equalizer. It was crucial as it kept Jurgen Klopp's side still in contention for a top-four finish.

Firmino was emotional after the game as he took in the supporters' chanting his name. He leaves Liverpool as one of the greatest strikers in the club's history. He scored 110 goals and provided 79 assists in 361 games for Klopp's side.

Firmino forged one of the greatest forward lines in Premier League history alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. The trio were sensational working in tandem with one another. They became a trio in the 2017-18 campaign and were instrumental in the side's 2019 Champions League and 2020 Premier League triumphs.

Roma boss Jose Mourinho explained Firmino's importance to how Mane and Salah performed back in 2021. He deemed him to be the team's workhorse when describing his playing attributes:

“He's very important to Salah and to Mane because he drops back in between the lines to allow Salah and Mane to score as many goals."

Mourinho added:

“He's fantastic, and I didn't know the words. I love it now; you call him a workhorse. I understand the meaning of it. He works so hard for the team."

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Roma as he makes a decision over his future. He will be a free agent and could join Mourinho's Serie A side who are on the cusp of becoming Europa League winners.
