Inter Milan star says he blocked his sister on social media after she was seen celebrating Juventus' Coppa Italia win with boyfriend Weston McKennie

Inter Milan midfielder Davide Fratessi has revealed that he blocked his sister on social media after she was seen celebrating Juventus' Coppa Italia win with Weston McKennie. The Italian's sister is reportedly dating the American international and seeing her celebrate another team's success was too much for the midfielder.

Fratessi and the Nerazzuri had a glorious campaign that saw them win their 20th Serie A crown and add a second star to their badge. Their cup campaign, however, ended with the Milan-based side getting knocked out early to Bologna at home.

Frattesi spoke to La Repubblica about how difficult it was to connect with his sister after Juventus' cup win. The midfielder talked about his reaction to seeing her with McKennie following the Old Lady of Turin lifting the Coppa Italia, saying (via One Football):

“When I saw my sister celebrate Juve’s Coppa Italia win on the pitch I blocked her on all social media for four days.”

Weston McKennie will have a busy summer, representing the USMNT at Copa America while Davide Fratessi will also have national engagements with the Italian national team at Euro 2024.

Juventus' Coppa Italia winning star Weston McKennie linked with Premier League return

Juventus' USMNT star Weston McKennie could reportedly return to the Premier League following a fine campaign that saw him lift the Coppa Italia this season.

The American made 38 appearances across the campaign, providing 10 assists and banishing memories of his disastrous loan spell at Leeds United. His performances for the Old Lady of Turin have seen him emerge as a potential option for Aston Villa.

As per Sky Sports, the Villans are considering a swap deal for McKennie that could see Douglas Luiz go in the other direction. If the move materializes, McKennie will end his Juventus career with 13 goals and assists to his name in 134 outings across competitions.

Both players will not be available to complete the transfer anytime soon, with the pair gearing up for Copa America with their respective nations.
