During an interview last year, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford named Manchester City defender Kyle Walker the toughest opponent he had ever faced. The English fullback is one of the most decorated players in English football, having won six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, two FA Cups, and four League Cups.

Speaking at the time in an interview with Red Devils legend Gary Neville on The Overlap via Give Me Sports, Rashford said of Walker:

"His physical capabilities are just unbelievable. It's always going to be a tough day [against him]. You have to try and catch him off guard or get him in the wrong positions, but even then, he can recover. It's always a difficult game against him."
" I just try and drift into places where he can't drift, or where he has to pass me on, and when he does pass me on, I just pull back a little bit, away from the defensive midfielder or wherever it is."

Marcus Rashford has spent his entire career with Manchester United and has faced Walker at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City. He has faced the defender 18 times, winning five, drawing once, and losing 12 games, bagging five goals in those encounters.

"The managerial changes and performances on the pitch from the team could well be something which is a reason for this." Former Manchester United winger discusses why Marcus Rashford is open to leaving the club

Former Manchester United winger Lee Sharpe recently discussed why Marcus Rashford is open to leaving the club after spending his whole career to date there. The 27-year-old winger came through the club's youth ranks but has revealed he is open to a new challenge in his career.

Sharpe, who joined the club from Torquay in 1988 for a reported € 275 thousand fee before going on to bag 36 goals and 29 assists in 253 games, weighed in on why the forward might be open to leaving the club. Speaking with the Mirror in partnership with William Hill via the Manchester Evening News, the former winger said:

"He is a quiet guy, he isn't one to be too vocal around the dressing room, he has let his football do the talking and when he is on form there is no player like Rashford with his pace and finishing power, The managerial changes and performances on the pitch from the team could well be something which is a reason for this."
"Plus also the weight of the club being on his shoulders with the pressure to lead from the front. With so much more media scrutiny and focus on the club than in our day, it could be a reason as well and Marcus hasn't been able to deal with it."

Marcus Rashford is a modern-day Manchester United legend. In 426 games, he has scored 138 goals and assisted 63, helping the team win one UEFA Europa League, two FA Cups, and two League Cups.
