Paul Pogba seemed unimpressed when renowned YouTuber IShowSpeed flaunted his Cristiano Ronaldo-themed Lamborghini. He felt that it was a bit too much from the YouTuber.
IShowSpeed is one of Cristiano Ronaldo's biggest fans and has become immensely popular in the footballing world, as a result. He has attended some of the biggest events in the sport, like the Ballon d'Or ceremony, and met many footballers. He recently collaborated with Paul Pogba.
IShowSpeed showed the French midfielder his Lamborghini which is themed around Cristiano Ronaldo in the colors of Portugal. It has a big sticker of the legendary footballer in front of the car in his signature 'Siuuu' celebration pose. IShowSpeed asked Pogba while flaunting the car:
"It's nice, isn't it?"
Pogba answered:
"Yeah, it's a Lambo. But it's a bit [too] much, bro, a bit much."
Pogba also tried to explain to IShowSpeed that Lionel Messi is a better player than Cristiano Ronaldo, saying:
"You love Cristiano, I like the style and everything. And some people love Messi because bro, bro! You see what he is doing, bro? Messi is different, you see what he is doing? Have you seen Messi? Bro, you think you can push him and stuff like that? How can a person like this, so small, can do this to people, right? You agree with me?"
Pogba notably shared the pitch 20 times with Ronaldo during their time together at Manchester United.
Paul Pogba provides his take on Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi debate
Arguably the biggest debate in football has been the GOAT debate between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Fans, pundits, players, and more have offered their opinions on the historic rivalry between the two legends. Paul Pogba has now joined them in sharing his thoughts on the debate, saying:
“For me, there is no Ronaldo vs. Messi—stop this bu****it. If I’m making a team and need to score goals, I would take Cristiano. If I need a playmaker who can score goals and make assists, I would take Messi every day.”
Both Ronaldo and Messi are now in the twilight of their careers after dominating world football for the best part of two decades. While the Argentine has won a record eight Ballons d'Or, the Portuguese has won five. They have won numerous individual and team honors with club and country and have broken several records.
Ronaldo now plies his trade for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr while Messi is in the US with MLS side Inter Miami.
