Cristiano Ronaldo has once again highlighted his accomplishments and lauded his goals for Al-Nassr. Widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, the Portuguese icon famously declared himself the best player in the world in 2016.
While showcasing versatility on the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo's extraordinary career has been predominantly defined by his relentless and prolific goal-scoring ability. In September 2024, the 39-year-old surpassed the milestone of 900 career goals and continues to hold the record as the highest goal-scorer in football history.
Since joining Al-Nassr in 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo has put up unimaginable numbers for the Saudi Pro League club. As of now, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored 75 goals and provided 18 assists for the Knights of Najd in 84 appearances across competitions.
In a recent video shared by Al-Nassr's official social media handle on X, Ronaldo was seen reflecting on some of his best goals for the club. He said:
“I did so many beautiful goals. It’s only Cristiano that can do this kind of goals!”
Cristiano Ronaldo's impressive goal-scoring record for Al-Nassr has continued this season. He has scored 17 goals and provided three assists in 20 appearances across competitions. Ronaldo's flair for goalscoring is second to none, as he once revealed his desire to score a thousand goals before hanging up his boots.
''I'm already the player in history with the most goals" - When Cristiano Ronaldo said he may not have enough time left to reach the 1000-goal milestone
A few months after revealing his desire to score 1,000 goals, Cristiano Ronaldo said he may not have enough time left in his career to reach the milestone.
The about-to-be quadragenarian made the claim in November 2024 after he received the Quinas de Platina trophy, the highest honor given to players by the Portuguese Football Federation.
Ronaldo said (via ESPN):
"I now face my life living in the moment. I can't think long term anymore," the Al-Nassr man said.
"I can no longer think about what I said publicly that I wanted to reach 1,000 goals. But it seems that everything is easy now, just last month I reached 900. It's about living in the moment, enjoying the moment, seeing the response that my legs will give me in the next few years. One thousand goals is great, but if it doesn't come, I'm already the player in history with the most goals," he added.
