"It’s an easy three points for Spurs" - Former Tottenham star makes bold prediction for NLD clash against Arsenal

Former Tottenham Hotspur star Jamie O'Hara has made a bold prediction, as his former team are set to host Arsenal in the North London derby on April 28.

The Gunners are sitting at the top of the Premier League table. Current champions Manchester City sit a point behind them in second place with a game in hand. Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, are sitting just outside top four, with six points between them and Aston Villa who are fourth in the league. Spurs have two games in hand over Villa.

Arsenal have lost just once in their last five games, with a 2-0 defeat against the Villans, but they have won their other four. It has been more topsy-turvy for Spurs, who have won twice and lost twice in that same period.

While expectations sit on Mikel Arteta's men as they sit firmly in the race for the title, Jamie O'Hara has placed his bets on Ange Postecoglu's men. The former Spurs player said on TalkSPORT (via TBR Football):

“Arsenal have got to play Spurs, it’s an easy three points for Spurs."

He added, responding to a Manchester City fan, while alluding to Arsenal losing out on the Premier League title:

“You’ve got a game in hand – it’s all over, get the open top bus parade ready! Just repair Liverpool’s farewell tour bus and take that over to Manchester, get it fixed up and get the tour bus ready.”

The previous encounter between the two sides ended in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates earlier this season.

Mikel Arteta warns Arsenal against derby emotion ahead of Tottenham clash

If Arsenal beat Tottenham, it would see them sit at the top of the Premier League, at least until Manchester City play and win two games. Mikel Arteta has warned his side against letting emotions cloud their decision when they face their rivals away from home.

The manager said to the press (via Independent):

“We have to put the rivalry aside and we have to live the game with passion and the intensity that it demands rather than anything special because the game has everything you need to enjoy it.”

He went on to warn Tottenham that the Gunners are prepared for the game:

“For sure we’re going to be fully ready. We have a bit of time to recover and prepare from the Chelsea game and I’m sure we’re going to be fully ready to go again on Sunday. I love the fact that we played four games. We had some great experiences. It’s been a really demanding week."

The manager added:

“We had some great results in the last two. That’s boosted the confidence of everybody. We’re in a good place.”

He will hope that the Gunners can continue with their impressive run of form, after beating Chelsea 5-0 in another London derby in the midweek.
