In a recent interview with French channel Clique TV, Kylian Mbappe was asked if he wants his former club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to win the UEFA Champions League. The Frenchman was at the Ligue 1 club for seven seasons before moving to Real Madrid.
Mbappe signed a five-year contract with Los Blancos in June. During his PSG stint, the 25-year-old won six Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de France, two Coupe de la Ligue, three Trophée des Champions, and also ended up as runners-up in the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League. He is the French club's top goalscorer with 256 goals while recording 108 assists in 308 appearances across competitions.
However, PSG are yet to win their first Champions League title. In an interview with Clique TV, Kylian Mbappe was asked if he wants Les Parisiens to win the European competition. The AS Monaco graduate replied (via @MadridXtra on X):
"Do I want PSG to win UCL? Right now? No, I want to win with Madrid. But I wish them the best at PSG. I hope that one day they will win the Champions League. But not now, because I have to win a little (laughs)."
Since he arrived at Santiago Bernabéu, Kylian Mbappe has registered 11 goals and two assists in 21 appearances across competitions for Real Madrid.
The France national team captain has been under criticism for his performances since joining the LaLiga giants.

The 2022 World Cup final went to penalties after France and Argentina drew 3-3 with Messi netting a brace and Mbappe scoring a hat-trick for their respective nations. The match ended in a 4-2 win on penalties for the La Albiceleste.
During the interview with Clique TV, Mbappe was asked about playing alongside Messi at Les Parisiens after France's heartbreaking loss in the 2022 World Cup.
The Real Madrid star said (via @MadridXtra on X):
"The World Cup final vs Messi? I was furious as hell. You know, you're a little apprehensive (about being reunited at the club). But the first thing, we laughed. He told me 'Hey, you've already won once.' This final brought us even closer. You learn everything from him, he does everything well."
Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi have shared the pitch alongside each other at Paris Saint-Germain for 67 matches in two seasons. The duo recorded 34 joint goal participation for the Ligue 1 giants.
