New Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe is set to be given his own room at the club's Valdebabas training ground. The outgoing Paris Saint-Germain forward has had his name nailed to the door, a room that had belonged to club legend Toni Kroos.

The German midfielder has played his last game for the club, in the UEFA Champions League final. Last season, he played 33 La Liga and 12 Champions League games. Now, he has hung up his proverbial boots in club football, having lifted the Champions League for a joint-record sixth time.

While Kroos will turn out for Germany in the upcoming Euros in his home country. there are rumors that the 34-year-old might decide to stay on as a coach, but his room at Valdebabas has been given to Mbappe

A date for Mbappe's unveiling at Real Madrid has not yet been announced. The forward is still under contract at PSG until June 30, and after which he will make the switch to Spain. His focus will also be on potentially winning the Euros with France this year.

Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid have announced the superstar's move. The World Cup winner was widely expected to join Los Blancos in 2022, but he renewed his PSG contract for two years.

Now, though, both club and player have reached an agreement, and he has a five-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu. After the move, the forward said on social media (as translated from Spanish):
