Hansi Flick opens up after Barcelona's 3-1 win against Espanyol
Barca head coach Hansi Flick shared his thoughts after his squad bagged a 3-1 win against Espanyol in LaLiga. Following the victory, the German manager said on the Blaugrana's performance (via @Thebarcaextra on X):
"The derby is always complicated, in the first half the team showed great level and in the second half we didn't play as we usually do. We lost a lot of balls and that's one of the reasons why Espanyol were able to pull one back. We have to improve on that."
"I'm not happy with the 2nd half and I told the players that, we made "unforced errors" as they say in tennis," added Flick.
When asked what he advises his players to keep them motivated about maintaining a consistent and successful run, Hansi Flick said:
"This is our mentality, I think we focus in every training session, we want to improve, we want to take the next step and this is our mentality, and we will continue in this way, and I am very happy."
Hansi Flick's men will face Serbian club FK Crvena zvezda next in the UEFA Champions League on November 6, at Red Star Stadium. The Catalan club are set to play against Real Sociedad next in LaLiga on November 10 at Anoeta.
