Lamine Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, has reportedly identified Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain as possible destinations for his son if he leaves Barcelona. As reported by Football365, the teenager is eyeing a new deal at Barca but could leave La Blaugrana if he is not offered an improved contract.

Yamal, whose current contract runs until 2026, is one of the most highly rated teenagers in world football at the moment. The Barcelona youngster made headlines at Euro 2024 as he helped Spain win the continental tournament.

Yamal broke multiple records at Euro 2024. He became the youngest player in the history of the European Championship, the youngest player to score a goal, and also provide an assist in the competition's history. Yamal capped off an outstanding Euros by providing an assist in the 2-1 win over England in the final.

A remarkable Euros performance coupled with an impressive breakout season with Barcelona has seen Yamal's valuation skyrocket. As per Transfermarkt, the 17-year-old is valued at around €120 million, making him the most expensive teenager in football.

Yamal has shown he has immense talent and top clubs around Europe will clamor for his services if he chooses to leave Barcelona. However, it is unlikely that the Catalonian club will let one of their best talents leave anytime soon.

The La Masia graduate is set to form the core of the club's setup under new manager Hansi Flick.

Pedri backs Lamine Yamal for 2024 Golden Boy award

Barcelona midfielder Pedri has backed teammate Lamine Yamal to win the 2024 Golden Boy award. The 17-year-old is among the favorites for the award given to the best-performing player in Europe below the age of 21.

Yamal had a commendable 2023-24 season. He scored seven goals and provided 10 assists in 50 matches across competitions. Additionally, he was named Young Player of the Tournament after winning the Euros with Spain and recording a goal and four assists in seven appearances.

When asked who should win the Golden Boy award, Pedri named Yamal without hesitation. He said (via The Residency):

"The next Golden Boy? Lamine Yamal 100%"

The 21-year-old Spanish midfielder had himself won the Golden Boy award back in 2021.
