Fans are excited about Arsenal midfield duo Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice returning from injury as they have been named in the starting lineup against Chelsea in the Premier League. The London Derby is currently ongoing at Stamford Bridge.

Martin Ødegaard sustained an ankle injury during international duty for Norway in September and has missed 14 club games. Declan Rice, meanwhile, broke a toe during the Gunners' 1-0 defeat against Newcastle United in the league last week and could not feature in their Champions League loss against Inter Milan on Wednesday.

Fans flooded social media with posts expressing their jubilation about Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice being named in Arsenal's starting XI against Chelsea in the Premier League. With the Gunners having lost their last two fixtures, fans expressed confidence about the visitors' chances against the Blues with the midfield duo's return. Here are some of the reactions from X:

"Our first team is back now let’s get back to winning ways."

Another added:

"Rice and Odegaard life’s complete."
"Big boost with Odegaard and Rice back! Let’s get those three points, Gunners! #Arsenal #COYG #BackToWinningWays," chimed in another fan.

One account posted:

"RICE & ODEGAARD ARE BACK LETS GO MASTERCLASS INCOMING"

Another tweeted:

"We are so back"
"Let’s win this. Come on Arsenal," posted another.

One user wrote:

"Ødegaard coming back will be a game changer, but will be a tough game for Arsenal regardless."

While another wrote:

"Please humble Chelsea for me"

With Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice returning to the pitch, Arsenal will be hoping for a win.

Mikel Arteta on Arsenal's recent performances ahead of PL clash against Chelsea

Mikel Arteta addressed his team's recent performances ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea. The Gunners have won only two out of their last six games across all competitions. While speaking with Paul Merson for Sky Sports, the Spanish manager said:

"It was a wrong result, that's for sure. But as you said, I think the performance and everything that we tried to do in the game and how superior we are to the opponent was there."
"At the end, we're going to be judged by results, and we should be. And, yeah, we didn't score, they did. And we are extremely disappointed that we didn't get what we deserved... We are here to win, you know, and that's the only thing that is valid," Arteta added.

Mikel Arteta's men are currently sixth on the Premier League table with 18 points from 10 matches.
