Liverpool came back from a goal down to beat Brighton & Hove Albion for the second time this week to move two points clear atop the Premier League table. Goals from Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo were enough to see the Reds overturn a 12th-minute Ferdi Kardioglu goal at Anfield on Saturday, November 2.

The win comes after they beat the Seagulls 3-2 at the Amex Stadium in the EFL Cup Round of 16 on October 30. Let's take a look at Liverpool's player ratings from the match on Saturday.

Caoimhin Kelleher - 6.5/10

The Irish goalkeeper was far from impressive for Liverpool today and conceded an early goal to put the home side under pressure. He went on to make four saves in the game and made eight recoveries.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 8/10

The Englishman was arguably the finest player on the pitch and was rightfully the Man of the Match. He completed the most tackles (8) and won the most duels (12).

Ibrahima Konate- 6.5/10

The French defender had a reasonable game for the hosts in his 45 minutes on the pitch. He completed 93% of his passes and won one tackle in the match before suffering an injury at the end of the first half.

Virgil van Dijk- 8/10

The Dutch defender was brilliant for Liverpool and completed the most passes (71) in the game. He completed 88% of his passes and provided the assist for the winning goal.

Konstantinos Tsimikas- 8/10

The Greek fullback was fabulous in the match and created the most chances (3). He completed 91% of his passes and won five tackles.

Ryan Gravenberch- 7.5/10

The Dutch midfielder was solid in the game and was the most fouled player on the pitch, getting fouled five times. He completed 80% of his passes and won six duels in the match.

Alexis Mac Allister -7/10

The World Cup-winning midfielder had an impressive game for the hosts in his 66 minutes on the pitch. He got a shot on target and made five recoveries in the game.

Dominik Szoboszlai- 7/10

The Hungarian midfielder was impressive for Liverpool in the match. He completed 89% of his passes and won three duels.

Mohamed Salah-8/10

Mohamed Salah bagged the decisive goal in the match for Liverpool against Brighton. He also managed two shots on target and made three recoveries in the match.

Cody Gakpo- 8/10

Curtis Jones came on for 24 minutes and played a vital part in securing the win for the home side. He completed 10 passes and provided an assist for his side with his 17 touches.

Luis Diaz- 6/10

The Colombian forward came on for 24 minutes of regular time to help his team see out the match. He completed all 10 passes he attempted and created one chance.

Wataru Endo- 6/10

The Japanese international came on for 13 minutes of regular time and helped his side see out the win. He completed six passes and won three duels in his time on the pitch.

The young right-back came on late in the game and did not have enough time to affect the game in his solitary minute of regular time on the pitch.
