Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is enjoying his break from football this summer with his girlfriend, Iris Law. The pair were recently spotted spending time together on a romantic holiday in Barbados.
In a video posted by Mail Sport on X, Trent and Iris can be seen taking in the sunshine in the ocean on paddle boards. The Liverpool star was wearing a life jacket, while his girlfriend rocked a bikini.
Trent is yet to link up with his Liverpool teammates and new manager Arne Slot for pre-season after his outing with England at Euro 2024. The 25-year-old made four appearances for the Three Lions, who finished as runners-up, losing 2-1 to Spain in the final.
Alexander-Arnold was deployed as a central midfielder in England's group-stage games against Serbia and Denmark, but featured intermittently in their subsequent games. Trent did not feature in the loss to Spain, but came off the bench to kick the winning penalty in the quarter-final shootout against Switzerland.
As per the Mirror, Trent and Iris began seeing each other in April. Rumors of their relationship intensified after they were spotted together in public back in May. Now, after a busy season that ended with the European Championships, the England international is cooling off with a romantic vacation in the Caribbean.
Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold slammed by former Premier League star amidst transfer links to Real Madrid
Former Tottenham Hotspur star Jamie O'Hara has criticized Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold for signing a Real Madrid jersey amidst reports linking him to the Spanish club.
Alexander-Arnold is in the final year of his contract at Anfield and is yet to sign a new deal with the Merseyside club. Recent reports have hinted that Los Blancos are eyeing the Englishman as they look to bolster their defense.
While on holiday with Los Blancos star Jude Bellingham after England's Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain, the 25-year-old was seen signing a Real Madrid jersey for a fan. This action did not sit well with O'Hara, who suggested that Trent could well be on his way out of the Merseyside club. He said (h/t HITC):
"Bellingham and Trent out in Miami, living their best life. I saw him sign a Real Madrid shirt the other day. That's poor, that. I am not having that. You can't be having that. You can't be signing Real Madrid shirts as a Liverpool player. Nah. I am not having that. I think he will be out of Liverpool. I think he will go to Real Madrid."
It is yet to be seen if Alexander-Arnold will pen a new deal with the Reds or make a high-profile switch to the Spanish capital this summer.
