Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is the subject of transfer speculation owing to his contract situation, with Real Madrid keeping tabs on the right back. He's out of contract in 2025, and speculation has been rife if he will sign a new contract or leave his boyhood club.
Real Madrid are known admirers of the 25-year old and are rumoured to be at the front of the queue to sign the Reds vice-captain if he does't extend his contract with the six-time European champions. His close bond with the Spanish giants' English midfielder, Jude Bellingham, is also adding further fuel to the fire.
Alexander-Arnold reported back to the Premier League side's training ground, Melwood, after a two-week rest after representing England at Euro 2024. Following his return, a clip has emerged of his club teammates Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz teasing the defender about the reported move to Los Blancos.

Can Real Madrid convince Trent Alexander-Arnold to end Liverpool stay?
The thought of Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving Liverpool is something the Anfield faithful would never have thought possible considering his roots. He was born and raised in the city and joined his boyhood club's youth academy at the tender age of six.
His talent was evident at a very young age, and he was fast-tracked into higher age group teams. In 2016, Alexander-Arnold signed his first professional contract with the club and made his senior team debut the same year when he came on against Tottenham Hotspur in October.
Since then, he has gone on to play over 300 times across competitions and was named the vice-captain by former manager Jurgen Klopp. Alexander-Arnold has gone on to win every possible trophy with the Reds except the UEFA Europa League.
However, with just a year left on his contract, his bond with Jude Bellingham, the lure of playing for Real Madrid and the lack of news around his contract extension, Liverpool fans would be worried about Alexander-Arnold's future at the club.
